Bridge to Terabithia - Book Review
Bridge to Terabithia
By: Katherine Paterson
Summary: A wonderful middle-grade novel narrated by Kenny, 9, about his middle-class black family, the Weird Watsons of Flint, Michigan. When Kenny's 13-year-old brother, Byron, gets to be too much trouble, they head South to Birmingham to visit Grandma, the one person who can shape him up. And they happen to be in Birmingham when Grandma's church is blown up. (Summary provided by Bookshare.org)
Favorite Character: My favorite character would have to be Leslie, because she was very brave and never gave up.
Favorite Scene: My favorite scene would have to be when they found the tree house in the woods.
I give this book a Thumbs Up because it was a little "Make-Believe", but just not too much.
